Naugatuck River 2008
Each year the state DEP stocks hundreds of broodstock Atlantic Salmon in the Naugatuck and Shetucket Rivers. Just about an hour north of lower Fairfield County along Route 8, the Naugatuck offers fishing for this native New England fish.
