The Mianus Chapter is actively involved in many river restoration projects and river cleanup events each year. The projects are geared towards improving water quality and habitat for trout, insects and other river dwellers.

River restoration projects take place in the late summer and include shoring up eroded banks, building in-stream structures for trout habitat, planting native vegetation and removing invasive vines and shrubs.

River cleanup events are held throughout the year.

If you take care of the fish, the fishing will take care of itself.
